Thanks for your work. i always hated cooking and was really bad at it until i discovered yout meal prep series, i now cook twice a week, i lost wieght and my wife loves the food too. thanks so much, my daily life improved greatly.
I’m a new subscriber and I just wanted to thank you for making it easy for me to cook for me and my son as someone who hates cooking lol. Your recipes are the ONLY ones I follow because of how easy they are to follow. I’m doing meal prep every week with your recipes and my son loves it. According to him now I’m the best mom ever lol
I don't eat meat, but then again, what's there not to love😍 I always use your sauces and work on diff ingredients. Thank you Chef Jack, iam loving these very personalized videos...
Delicious 😋. love your bulk cooking videos and all your tips and trick, so educational. I also have those Luvele containers, and they are fabulous (as well as their appliances). I can't wait for your cookbook to arrive! Love from Perth❤
Hey Chef, I had leftover broccoli so I made this and used chicken instead of beef and noodles instead of rice. Also threw some spring onion in. I love the simple stir fry sauce! Love from a huge long time fan
@@ChefJackOvens for me it's even harder, as i watch your videos and I live in Germany. I already have no idea about meat types in English, even less about them in German lol.
Thanks for the recipe! Learn from my mistake - after searing the broccoli and beef, I returned the broccoli to the bottom of the wok, underneath the meat. When I added the sauce, all the broccoli absorbed the sauce and barely any of the sauce made it into the meat.
This looks so good - i’ve been wanting to make something different for my work lunches so will be following for more ideas! (Hopefully losing weight as well!). Thank you. 😊
I’m glad I found your channel. I do Bodybuilding as a hobby and my meals were starting to become stale and boring. Your stir-fry’s have a good macronutrient profile for my needs in addition to tasting great!
Just made this, LOVE IT.. next time I'll have more meat ready for protein freaks like me. But none the less I tried a bit of a smaller batch just because I didn't want to fail but with his directions you can rarely go wrong.. Thanks man!
I always eat the stems of broccoli so good. It’s wasteful to not use it. This sounds so delicious Chef Jack. Look at how high your subscribers have gotten. Well done 👏 richly deserved. Noticed your plaque in the background too.
I’ll be trying this in the next few days Jack. I think it would be helpful to share the size of the wok you use. Think mine is smaller so might have to do the broccoli and beef in batches.
This beef and broccoli stir-fry is a total lifesaver. Quick, easy, and packed with flavour. Love that it's budget-friendly too. Perfect for meal prepping. Have you tried swapping out the beef for tofu or chicken? Would love to hear your thoughts on that. Also, any tips for making the sauce extra thick?
Haha that’s why they go in the freezer and you bring them out when you need it. It’s not designed to be eaten every single day unless you like doing that
I’m always going to recommend what I use because I love them and wouldn’t change. The knives I use are koi Https://www.koiknives.com/discount/JackOvens
You should velvet the steak (look up on yt, it's corn starch, baking soda, etc). This looks delicious, I'd prep this no prob, trying to cut weight anyway. Also, 5$ per portion? That's triple price of what I get these items for. Usa.
I'm not a big red meat eater, but I am going to try this. I think you have done a stroganoff previously... could you link it for me? I'd like to try it xx
Can you please explain how to use bicarbonate of soda to tenderise beef, as you mentioned in this video? Do you simply sprinkle the bicarbonate over the meat, massage it in and then leave the meat for around half an hour - or do you leave it for longer? Then, before cooking, do you rinse the bicarbonate of soda from the meat using water or do you just cook it with the bicarbonate still ‘on’ the meat? I would appreciate an explanation. Great recipe. Thanks.
I’m not an expert but I’m from a Chinese household. You can massage the beef with baking soda and you can directly cook the beef with it. You don’t have to rinse it off. The longer you leave it the more tender it will get. If you have the time you can marinate it for a couple of hours but if not 20-30mins is good enough. You can do trial and error and adjust the timing accordingly to the beef texture you like
Most people who cook know exactly what it is 😂 It’s not his fault you don’t have rice vinegar, you’re meant to check the ingredients before you make the recipe. Most supermarkets do rice vinegar 🤦♀️

Super informative that’s! You got a new subscriber and Fan!!😊
Welcome aboard! Thank you 🙏
making this for my next shift.
BTW, Rump Steak is called Sirloin here in the states, for my americans
Awesome! That’s so confusing haha. Sirloin is porterhouse and what you call New York strip. Why can’t we be universal haha

Thank you 🙏 of course, got plenty of different options coming

It’s a pleasure. This is delicious with chicken too. Makes it even cheaper also

Looks delicious chef!
I made this for the week and it was super good
Eager to try this.
It’s so tasty
Delish! Went for pork fillet instead.Love the channel ❤
Excellent. The only change I'd make is a little bit of onion - beef is always made better in its presence!
Can't wait to try this, I'll be sure to link your video and give you a shout if I do a video 😊
Thank you for putting my long asked for request on the video, the cup sizes on the screen so i dont have to keep scrolling down in the discription

The stems are so good. Thank you so much Joey! I really appreciate it
The fact that you gave a substitute for the mirin to make it non alcohol for the halal choice, earns my respect and instant subs. ❤
Thanks chef !
My pleasure!!
love the recipe, Jack!! one advice put some brown sugar in the sauce, you will love it!
He looks like Cole palmer in the picture behind him
see how he provides alternatives? very mindful, very demure
thank you for mentioning alternatives to alcohol containing ingredients
No worries 😌
Looks awesome!
Oh yummy I will make this one day this week . Only thing I missed.. what is in the sauce , was it just soy sauce? ? Thank U
Lovely.... Can you show us how to cut meat against the grain... Thank you
Good recipe, thank you. I'd go with wholegrain rice, or even cauliflower rice if people are doing low carb diet.
Looks great !
Cheers
Any chance you could do a fish focused meal prep? I love the flavors you work with, but dont eat meat often. Love the videos!
I have in the past and they don’t always perform the best unfortunately. I can always give it another crack though. Appreciate it. Thank you 🙏
@@ChefJackOvens that makes sense. ill look for what youve done previously
Hey Jsck,
Using frozen veg as it's cheaper! Thanks for rhe recipe.
How do I cook using frozen veg?

I miss the black pepper whisper ritual. Did you decide white pepper is better for you? Great recipe Chef.
I still do it in nearly all my videos. I explained in the video as to why I’m using white pepper in a dish like this 🙌
Just needs some red/green chilli I'd say! Looks good though
Love the series, can you recommend a knife brand to use

You should really post all your equipment in your description to make this easier lol
Why dont you marinade/velvet the meat? To orevent the meat from becoming too chewy
You definitely can as I said in the video. If you’re using a good quality meat, you won’t need to
Delicious 😋
It really is

Hey Chef
My beef is very tough, and I found pressure cooking is the best way to soften my beef.
At what point is it fine to do this for this recipe
No need to pressure cook it. Add 1tsp bicarbonate of soda to the beef
I’m Interesting in GF dinners anything may you suggest
Is this ok to cook 5 days meal at once?
Shame about the 2 ingredients most ppl haven't heard of. I also don't have rice vinegar for the substitute. Looks good though.

Jack the broccoli can be parboil.
Yes it can, no need though. You’ll start removing nutrients if you boil veggies
"Whack this over a high heat," I love it
